There are so many places

On this earth to see

So many places

That I’d rather be

Interesting people

To understand and meet

Trapped in this office

I feel incomplete

Fascinating cultures

Delicious cuisine

Iconic landmarks

So much I’ve not seen

Oh these itchy feet!

They’re so hard to ignore

There’s so much to do

So much world to explore

The hours move slowly

When just tapping and clicking

Business hours dragging

Time tick… tick… ticking

Through screen fatigued eyes

I can see it unravel

What I want for my life?

To continue to travel

So once again,

This feels right

I’ll quit my job

And book a flight

Pushing myself

Out of my comfort zone

To my next adventure

Moving abroad alone
